For Lynn Peaper, real estate is deeply connected to community.
As the Team Leader of The Peaper Group of Hubble Bisbee Christie’s International Real Estate, Lynn helps buyers and sellers navigate some of life’s biggest transitions throughout the Chesapeake region, including Anne Arundel, Kent, Caroline, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot counties. However, her connection to the area goes well beyond her work. She grew up here, is raising her own family here, and understands firsthand what makes life around the Chesapeake so distinctive.
That personal side of Lynn recently took center stage in Chesapeake Family Life’s feature, “Meet Lynn Peaper,” which offers a look at the woman behind the real estate business: a team leader, wife, mother of three, equestrian, and active member of her community.

Real Estate Expertise Rooted in the Chesapeake
One of Lynn’s favorite parts of her career is helping people find their place in the same region she has long called home. As she told Chesapeake Family Life, “I grew up here, and now I’m raising my own family here, so every transaction feels close to home.”
That history gives Lynn more than familiarity with the market. It gives her an understanding of the communities and all the details that can make one part of the Chesapeake feel entirely different from another, such as the neighborhoods and their corresponding lifestyles, waterfront areas, and local traditions and events. For newcomers, that local perspective can be especially valuable. Lynn notes, “I also love introducing newcomers to the area. I can talk about the neighborhoods, hidden gems, waterfront spots, local traditions and the little things that make this community such a wonderful place to call home.”
Today, Lynn brings that knowledge to clients throughout the Chesapeake area, from Annapolis and Anne Arundel County to Kent, Caroline, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot counties. Her real estate work includes particular expertise in luxury, waterfront, equestrian, and custom new-construction properties. These transactions require property-specific knowledge, strong positioning, and an understanding of the buyer pool can make a meaningful difference.
A More Strategic Approach to Selling a Home
For sellers, Lynn and The Peaper Group focus on far more than getting a property onto the market. Their approach begins with understanding the home itself: features like its architecture, condition, history, setting, audience, and what distinguishes it from competing properties. From there, they develop a tailored marketing strategy designed to present the property effectively to the buyers most likely to appreciate its value. That includes strategic pricing, property preparation, marketing, digital exposure, professional resources, and hands-on guidance throughout the transaction. The team also helps coordinate details such as repairs and preparation before a home goes to market, then continues supporting clients through negotiations, closing, and beyond. This is an especially important strength in the Chesapeake market, where waterfront homes, acreage, equestrian estates, custom properties, and luxury residences often require a more nuanced sales strategy than a standard listing.
Lynn combines that marketing approach with data-driven decision-making and a strong understanding of local market conditions. She has worked in real estate since 2015 and has built her business around thoughtful representation, detailed market knowledge, and the ability to guide clients through complicated transactions without allowing the process to become needlessly complicated for them. Her sales experience is substantial as well, with more than $300 million in sales represented.
Strong Representation for Buyers, Too
For buyers, Lynn’s role is equally strategic.
The Peaper Group works to understand not only what a client wants in a house today, but how they want to live in the years ahead. Location, lifestyle, amenities, property type, investment considerations, and long-term goals all become part of the conversation. That becomes particularly useful in an area as varied as the Chesapeake. A buyer considering an Annapolis neighborhood may have very different priorities from someone searching for an Eastern Shore waterfront property, equestrian acreage, new construction, or a second home.
Lynn and her team also bring a broad professional network to the process. Their support can extend beyond closing through introductions to trusted professionals for building, design, and other home-related needs. When a transaction calls for creativity, Lynn has experience finding opportunities beyond the obvious.
Leadership With Room for Real Life
The Chesapeake Family Life profile also highlights something that shapes Lynn’s approach to business: she understands that clients and colleagues have lives that do not conveniently stop because a transaction is underway. As a working mother and team leader, she regularly navigates competing responsibilities herself.
“You’re often the person everyone turns to. At work, my team comes to me for guidance and support. At home, my kids and family do the same.” Rather than pretending there is a magical formula for balancing all of it, Lynn takes a more practical view. She states, “I’ve learned that balance isn’t something you achieve once; it’s something you adjust every single day.”
That perspective has influenced the culture she has built within The Peaper Group. Her team structure gives clients access to multiple professionals with complementary expertise rather than relying on a single person to manage every component of a transaction. The goal is more responsive service, focused attention, faster problem-solving, and fewer details slipping through the cracks.
Compassion and Accountability
Motherhood has also shaped Lynn’s leadership style. “Motherhood has made me both more compassionate and more accountable,“ she explains. That balance translates naturally to real estate. Buyers and sellers need an advisor who recognizes the personal stakes of a move while still keeping an eye on deadlines, negotiations, market data, risk, and the hundred less-glamorous details required to reach the closing table. Lynn’s client approach emphasizes clear communication, realistic guidance, responsiveness, and decisions grounded in actual market information rather than wishful thinking.
“It Takes a Village”
The theme that ties the Chesapeake Family Life article together most clearly is community. Lynn and her husband, Jeff, are raising three active children in Edgewater. Between horses, glee club, BMX racing, lacrosse, football, fishing, golf, and mountain biking, their family calendar is quite full and making it work requires help from extended family, friends, and one another.
“I’ve always loved the saying ‘It takes a village,’ because it’s so true. We lean on ours often, but we also try to be good villagers ourselves.”
That sentiment says a great deal about Lynn’s approach to the Chesapeake area as both a resident and a real estate professional. The Peaper Group’s work is built around relationships: understanding the people involved, knowing the communities they are moving into or out of, assembling the right professionals when challenges arise, and staying involved throughout the process.
For clients buying or selling in the Chesapeake area, Lynn offers a combination of regional knowledge, experienced sales strategy, specialized property expertise, and highly personalized service. Successful real estate representation is not merely about knowing what homes are for sale. It is about understanding the market, recognizing opportunities, positioning a property intelligently, negotiating effectively, solving problems when they arise, and, most especially, knowing the community well enough to help someone feel at home there.
